Also have LS3/5a. A lot of similarities between the BC1 and LS3/5a in the mids an ...

My Nait 2 is from 87 or 88 and has never had a recap. A tech in my area who did warranty work ...

Valve amps can take a lot of work to get going and keep going. At 100-150 GBP there is not a lot of choice, unless you were to find something in an estate sale or garage sale that someone did not kno ...

While my ls3/5a are "resettling", and they do appear to be getting better, I was wondering if anybody else had the chance to hear and compare these two speakers.

I had the JRs complete wi ...

Thx Colin. They are original. The cases are not the best and the idiot that I bought them from damaged the inside edges with a screwdriver, but I can do some repairs to make them presentable.

I a ...

I just have purchased a set of Audiomaster LS3/5a.

On one speaker on loud bass passages I can hear distortion, which sounds to me like the voice coil is rubbing. It is particularly apparent in ver ...

Ok, here is an update on my Kan situation. The Mk1s have now been modified by switching one of the new neodymium tweeters from Linn for the Scanspeak. They continue to be bright and lively. The new ...

Mine are rosewood with leather inlays. The sub is yew, which is a very d ...

Sorry I wasn't more specific on re routing the LPA, but ran out of time. The LPA crossover appears to rob the dynamics, frequency response, depth and imaging from the satellites. The volume setting ...
