Young wifes.........ya gotta love their 'persuasion'!

The pro KUBE only has the ability to change contour and HF/LF cut-off..ie..50 or 20 HZ. Additionally one can run with no active eq....but why ...

I ran my 107's (first series) with this exact amp!

Nothing bad about the reproduction, but was on an audiophile kick at the time and traded for mono Counterpoint amps...which led to other upgrades, ...

The large PVC tube is my storage tank (smooths the air flow pulses to the arm) for the air bearing ET/2 tone arm.
The WISA pump is a custom version built exclusively for air bearing tone arm ...

My KEF 107's are in heaven being driven by an Audio Research SP-15 (modded by George Kaye) pre-amp, which in turn sends it's 7volt output to the 'small' McIntosh MC-252 amp.

The pro KUBE has three toggle switches, one for contour, one for LF extension, and one to run the system sans equalization.

Some years ago there was a fellow who claimed he worked for KEF; made a device called the 'magic flutes'....this device allowed the KEF speaker designed for a KUBE to run without it....I bel ...

The 150's are great amps....albeit MONSTERS! I had both e 120's and V140's before moving to my McIntosh Mc252.
