Really loved the way the Krell controlled the low end though, only other power amps I have liked have been Classe and Bryston.

My Kube certainly seems to have deteriorated, still not got around to ...

One of my fave demo'd systems was the PMC BB5 XB5 pairing with full Bryston active package at nearly 40k, absolutely superb bass and percussion performance, superb.

I want to build or get a sub for under 500 to use in a room around 60ft by 80ft.

The main and surround speakers are 103db sensitivity with 15" mid bass drivers.
