Hi Paul, this is what I did with mine.....

I was advised to replace all the caps in the crossovers as even if they weren’t leaking their values would have drifted after nearly 40 years, I did this ...

Must admit those Troels do look great, but you never hear anything bad about big IMF's.... just a bit odd looking to me

SG those grommets on mine are serioulsy flattened out.....

rx7 did you use a mixture of Elcaps and Clarity's ?

Also I notice you have a single hole on the bass bins (for the shaft ?) was that or ...

As far as I can hear the tweeters seem fine.

Does anybody know if the Clarity caps are a similar size (physically) to the originals?
I put Solens in my 104ab’s and they are fine but I doubt they ...

Thanks guys, I have checked and there is foam on the inside of the mid box, no lose wadding though.

I note edd9000's are a close serial number to mine so they must be from the same time, innercity' ...

I'v just become the owner of a pair of original Kef 105's. I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed with them, they are in very good condition all round as far as I can see.

I'v never listened ...
