eBay is probably the best source for woofers.

6.5 Ohms d.c. is the typical resistance for an "8 Ohm" driver and one to be used in a nominal "8 Ohm" system.

The centering is done by the holes in the pcb annulus/ring engaging with the two pins in the top plate.

M3.5 screws are very common indeed. All UK mains electrical wall sockets and fittings use M3.5. No need to bodge with the nearest imperial thread Shocked
