in my neverending mission to obtain good low end response from my 107,2, I bought acourate software. I wanted to do the job of the kube, and correct the room in the same time. Is someone has ever tried or experimented some corrections with this software? my first attempts were not successful.

Hi bilbobat,
Myself I intend to try out http://www.roomeqwizard.com/ with http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/ but from what I understand, one needs a mic and to calibrate that mic or spl firstly.

hi Gossy,

I bought the calibrated mic from the maker of acourate software on his site, and bought analog to digital converter to feed my computer with the data.
For now, I need to first refoam my woofers, and make sure I have the good wire polarities on the low end speakers (suspecting a polarity inversion on a woofer vs the other one in the cabinet).
If you have 107/2, can you give me the wire colors for each woofer, say from left to right, when you are in front of the terminals ?

Hi, there are a few threads here concerning reworking the 107/2's
http://www.hifiloudspeakers.info/speakertalk/viewtopic.php?t=984&sid=23ef5b29f1d76847c96feaa92d757cd6 for example ; try contacting these users perhaps ^^

As for that mic - that software should have its own mic calibration options try using it before measuring might fix some of the issues
