I have 101 speakers which I purchased in 1984 and have been great until last month. One bass driver cut-out. Checking the crossovers I have found several leaking capacitors and corrosion. Seems like it is time to recap them. I have found a source for recap sets, and have tried to verify with the cap set supplier that the recap set would be appropriate for these SP2010 crossovers, to no avail. My question is: are the capacitors in all (SP1123, SP1124, SP2010) the same? Thanks for any help.

I don't think anyone is going to know or be able to find out the difference between the 101 variants. I suggest you get the values from whatever is printed on your caps on your xos and replace with as close as you can get.

Thanks speakerguru. Looks like that is the best way proceed at this point. I am still interested in the differences between the crossover variants, why changes were made and the results of those changes. Another study to pursue in my spare time.
