I am so defensive of my collection of T27s.
God knows why.
In their time they were the dogs whatsits, but with a poor crossover, they would spit like latterday bacon rashers.
Top end response indeed was excellent, well into the super tweeter region, so why did I use the Coles super tweeters?

Power handling is poor, I have seen one go poop and a whiff of smoke then a flame when driven by an American super amp.

Yet I keep coming back to them.

The secret is all in the crossover!
