Question is
Can the B200 - SP1256's of the 105/3 be replaced with the B200 - SP1188 from the 104/2 ?
At least this has been done in my 105/3's by the privious owner, but do they have the same specs and do they match the system crossover - impedance etc. ?
I do feel they are a bit low on bass compared to the memory of my first 105/3's which i had from new.. _________________ Best Regards

Sorry, don't know exact answer but the 1256 was also used in the production 104/2 when they changed to bi-wire terminals.
They also changed the SP number of the 104/2. This could either mean a significant change to crossover or just the fact the bi-wire was added. If you could find the crossover schematics of both 104/2s system SP3037 and SP3128 and if the values in the bass crossover are similar, then it's perhaps a good chance the drive unit parameters were similar enough to be interchangeable? If the crossover values are much changed, then maybe not such a good sign since the box parameters remained the same? |

Hi Proffski
Did you ever find the schematic ?. It would be quite good to know if SP1188 is basically the same as SP1256 _________________ BR

Yes, then mislaid again. I saw them a month ago and may even have the scans.
The original is about a metre square sheet! Apologies for the delay. I'll post here once found. _________________ I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a
