I have a rather glowing report in "Hi-fi Choice Loudspeakers" 1980.
My computer scanner is still bust, but I'd be happy to send you a photo copy once I get back to work.

Remember if you wish I can put any old KEF documents on the site and then all the community will benefit.

I would be most grateful if anyone who has any leaflets, reviews, pamphlets, documents, pictures, manuals and so on would send me a copy in any form - although a good electronic copy is least work for me.

Thanks to you all for your continued participation in the forum.

KEF R105.2 & KEF R104.2 Reviews.

If I escape from the school lab early enough I will post both reviews on the way home. There are no graphs for the 104.2...

I still have a few A3 size circuit diagrams for the 104.2 crossover if anybody is interested.

As and when I repair the computer scanner I will put all my KEF literature onto CD and post to the management.

The thing with the 105 was its so called 3rd order bass Alignment a combination of an underdamped 2nd order sealed box in combination with a series capacitor to give a so called optimally damped 3order box.

Here I think here KEF had a blind spot.

The B300 can perform but only in a large box sealed / reflex but not in the the 105 box.

Hi Boyzo, How big a box do I need ?, I am in the midst of making a new box since the old box is "Old" and some section had water damaged or to be more precise has "milk damage".. on second thought maybe I should wait for the kids to get out of the house and then make a new box Smile
