I am not sure what you mean?
Is "protection" something like making sure the sound does not travel to the floor below you? Or is it trying to make the sound NOT bounce around - is your room too lively?
Explain, please! _________________ Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, "Where have I gone wrong?" Then a voice says to me, "This is going to take more than one night."

Start by hanging heavy tapestrys from the walls, if this does not work, consider moving.
For the construction of plasterboard and wooden false walls, isolated, not connected to the existing walls, lined with acoustic quilts, will prove to be very expensive. |

Ahhh, got it.
I know of a guy who hangs bedsheets on his walls. Of course, he is divorced...
Another thing to try is open cell foam pads to cut down on reflections. Are your speakers properly set up? I had set up some speakers improperly once that created lots of bass in the corners.... a bad sound! _________________ Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, "Where have I gone wrong?" In my first house, I put thin expanded polyurethane sheeting (available on rolls to reduce condensation problems) under the wall paper. I used this in conjunction with heavy curtains from floor to ceiling covering the windows and a heavy fabric three piece suite. I found this to give an agreeable sound and the neighbours agreed with me!
