Hi,

I recently showed interest in a pair of Kef 107 on Ebay, the seller had a Kube 200 with these which I questioned.
I have had a few emails outside ebay from the seller telling me this was better, I asked about speaker and Kube matching, and explained this, to which he told me he had never heard such rubbish.

I think I know the 107 kube was matched to the speakers, and that the 107 , 107/2 , 104/2 and 200 kube's were all different, and that the 107 Kubes held part of the crossover network and replacement was over £275 ?

I still remember Kef needing serial numbers for certain spares , and that the 107 Kube's had individual specs ?

The guy is still making me out a twat, what do you guys know about the Kube ?

Steve

I think I've already quoted this from PL 557 EN02.

"It contains variable low-frequency equalisation, specific to the model with which it is supplied,"

The full KEF version can be found here.
