Can anyone recommend where to go in the Southwestern US to service a KEF 104/2 speaker? I heard it is very hard to come by the woofers of these speakers. I'm near Phoenix,AZ.
I have some bad foam surrounds and one driver rubs on the voice coil. I need the crossovers tested and rebuilt if necessary. Anyone have Driver numbers and crossover info? Like how you can remove the woofers from the cabinet properly.
I bought them in Phoenix,AZ at a pawn shop recently and my heart went out to them. My first REAL Hi Fi speakers were a set of 103/4 I bought new in '93. I sold them to buy a pair of Martin Logan Aerius i. But since started a family and had to part with all of it. Always remembered how good those 103/4's were. Looking forward to rescuing these 104/2's even if I have to buy the parts myself and rebuild the pair from scratch.

I have the greatest respect for the KEF 104/2 transducer cabinets.
Indeed a Hi-Fi dealer friend still swears by his pair.
They sure do sound enticing, lively and fast considering the bass topology.

I will make enquiries, but please do not hold your breath, replacement units are indeed rare!
