Greetings All; One of my 105's blew a fuse the other day, amp related I believe, but when I went to replace the fuse I noticed that there were different values of fuses between the two speakers. I believe the correct rating for the H.F. is 800µΩ and the MF is 4Ω. Is this correct?

Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Ron

The values are lurking in several places in forum threads, but here they are again Smile .

Midrange B110B SP1057 - 5*20mm, 800mA or 0.8A 250V.

Treble T52 SP1049 - 5*20mm, 500mA or 0.5A 250V.

Buy modern "quick blow" because of the drive units age rather than anti-surge which DO NOT have the same construction or overload characteristics as the originals.

I need to start a thread entitled: Name the 3 things that Colin does not know about Kef.

I wonder how many people can get just one?

That's easy Very Happy .

1. Monthly production volumes of all models through the '70s and '80s.

2. A few dozen dates for specific serial numbers of speaker designs and drive units.

3. The fate of some of the research designs which didn't end up in private hands or Surrey University.

Just for starters!

Thank you ColinR. Much appreciated. Hopefully this is the last fuse they'll ever blow.

Cheers
