Harrys Subwoofer.
Yet another KEF PSW2500 Subwoofer rebuilt to how it should have been in the 1st place.
Equalisation changed to cater for larger cabinet and decent drivers weighing half a planet! http://s891.photobucket.com/albums/ac114/AndyGoloskof/
Awesome, some details at bottom of picture once you have clicked it! _________________ I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a

Wow, are the walls really that thick hardwood? I take it from your comments the original Kef was not too reliable... not enough heatsink or something? |

Heatsinking was adequate, but they were dropping voltage through large resistors next to capacitors including power supply, so capacitors were cooking and dying!
One transistor was being pushed to its limits even at room temperature, yet running very hot, so way above safe operating area!
Too many issues to list but possibly the accountants got their hands on the designs before they went into production! Many suggested fixes are temporary as was KEFs! Boards same as some Celestion models.
