Interestingt question. One would need the specification sheets from KEF.
Example, I need to find information on the B139B Auxilary Bass Radiators.
I gather that KEF made three. SP1082 - SP1037 - SP1042.
Can anybody help here please?

Andy.

The SP1037 and SP1082 specs are lurking on this site. The SP1082 was used in the Carltons and the SP1042 was used in the 104, Calinda and Cadenza - so work backwards. For a B139B and two BD139 SP 1042 you do it in a ~125 litre box. Ask Terry for the picture.

It gets worse, which of the units had the lowest Free Air Resonance?
The SP1037 is 28Hz +/- 5Hz (Hmm)
The SP1082 is an amazing 13Hz +/- 2Hz! (Better)
Alas I cannot see the information for the SP1042???

Fascinating this KEF stuff.

With some luck I hope to be measuring the performance of the SP1042 Vs the SP1082, now need to find some SP1037 in good and affordable condition...

Hi Sorry to butt in on the conversation, thought you might be able to help me identify a pair of old b139's. These are dated january 1964 and unlike all the other b139's I have with rubber or foam surrounds, these have fabric surrounds.

kind regards
