|

I received this week new Alcaps for Cantata crossover. I noticed production codes like 93-8820 on low loss series caps. I first tought that 93 identifies manufacturer and 8820 specifies date of manufacture in usual way, ie. 20th week of 1988.
Then I asked my suplier if I have unerstood codes correctly, they replied that they are not date codes, but are batch codes but no further information.
Old Elcaps from Cantatas have same 93 in codes and later digits read like 7830 etc. Drive units have date codes in 1979... so do anyone have information about production codes of old Elcaps and recent Alcaps, std, low loss and 100V hi power ranges.
Best Regards |

This is a bit like my reply to Peter concerning his Celefs .
Alcaps are produced by a Chinese family firm, when the old man decides to retire production will cease.
You'll have to chat to someone who knows about numerology . _________________ This post or any other information supplied to this website or any other by myself is not available for any form of commercial purpose i.e. to hi-fi magazines or as sales and marketing material for sleezeBay or Audiodogging pimps and the like. |
