Have anybody tried to upgrade Concerto with B110 SP1057.

T27 high pass section shold be quite close to 104aB T27 section.

B139 low pass and B110 high pass sections sholud be quite close to C7-3... but how B110 low pass section should be modidied to match T27 aB high pass section.

Resulting crossover should be quite close to AusKef or Falcon 53 unit. But is SP1057 better midrange than older SP1003? SP1003 is at least difficult as there were several variants with different caracteristics, is SP1057 more uniform driver?

Reason for asking this question is as availability of T27 is far better than T52 and T33 units.

Any ideas or information are welcome.

Er a passive crossover design with identical losses in each of the three legs for three 84dB/1W/1m drivers sounds like advanced speaker design to me, not an easy layman's bodge. Going active looks a lot better Very Happy .
