The KEF museum has been improved even more, and it is now better described which units were in which speakers.

Also models that were not shown earlier in the museum, have now become a part of the family.

I started my KEF relationsship in 1986 with a pair of C10 speakers, and quickly progressed to a pair of C80. Our youngest daugther now has the C10's and the C80's are sold to finance an upgrade into the Reference series.

I considered the C40's back then, and I now see that there were also C40D's and C42's. See more here: http://www.kef.com/html/en/explore/about_kef/museum/1980s/C10_C20_C30_C40_C40D_C42_/index.html

And I actually stumbled across some C42's in France, in my search for a pair of tweeters for a pair of Reference 103/4's, for my also KEF infected brother-in-law.

See the advertisment here: http://www.leboncoin.fr/image_son/296814033.htm?ca=7_s

Funny to see the history of KEF being revealed like this.

Has the old KEF museum gone? I can't link to it at all anywhere, all I get now is the new KEF International page and can't find any link on there. Please tell me someone has a link or maybe somebody downloaded the whole site and has a copy of it Sad

Yes, seems to be gone.
I contacted KEF in the UK to let them know that we hope it's just an update glitch.

Hope it comes up again soon.

Until then,
