Hi,
I am wanting to bring down my CD output of 2V output impedance 600 ohms load impedance more than 10k ohms. to match the recommended input of my amp,all 3 available inputs are 180mV. input impedance 100k ohms.in stereo mode.
I was advised to go for -10dB, but would -20dB not be closer to the amps 180mV.?

With care a simple L Pad Attenuator should do it, the calculations are simple enough.
With the usual caveats why not try a decent quality pot to start with? _________________ I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a
