I have SP1014 and T27 driver ( and many many more tweeters). Now I need some ideas about what to do with the drivers. A small TLS like the IMF 50 is one an other is doing something along the Spendor BC1. That is with thin wals and softboard damping. With modern tweeters at hand I do not see any point of having both a tweeter and a supertweeter. My KEFs measure with a higher Q and Fr than the spec sheets so I am more inclined to use a resisistive vent than a bass reflex.
Suggestions for a retro design is most wellcome! |
