Hi all, I'm hoping somebody can help me date my newly acquired 104.2's. The seller wasnt the original buyer and wasnt much help. Their serial number is 001675.
Cheers, Guy

Well, yes, i've seen the KEF site. I also mailed KEF UK a few weeks ago but got no reply. Is there a specific page on the site that you meant? (the only remotely relevant page I could find is in the 'museum' section where they mention the 104.2's as starting production in 86 - doesnt narrow things down too much)

With such a low serial number they must have been built in 1984. If you remove the mid-treble baffle there might be a dated label near the bottom saying ***** July or August 1984 Cool .
