hi... i have a pair of kef coda 3 and one of the tweeters is not working... could anyone help me locate a pair of kef type sp 1089 6ohms for sale... any help appreciated.

I would have thought that eBay would be the best place. Look there for either another set of Coda IIIs for spares or the actual drive unit you want. Good luck.

I know this'll sound silly but.... have you taken your speakers apart and peered inside? It could be a blown capacitor in a dividing network (crossover) or perhaps just a wire is loose.

thanx 4 the reply terry + gary... i did test the cables with a different tweeter and there was sound coming thru, so i suppose the speaker is blown... i'm looking at ebay and other avenues to see what i can get sorted... i have a pair of chorale 3's and the tweeter is the same model... but i like the sound of the chorale 3's more, so i might keep the coda 3's for spares...
