You won't find much information on the driver parameters as they were being produced just as KEF were loosing their way in design terms and going down the toilet financially.

Taken from PL557 EN02

Same looking cheap paper bass-mid crossing over at about 3kHz used with an identical rectangular Japanese tweeter +/-3dB to 20kHz giving a 90dB spl for 1 W and 110dB maximum.

C20 72Hz from 340*247*212mm,
C30 70Hz from 503*247*212mm,
C40 68Hz from 650*247*212mm, +1dB spl & max with an ABR consisting of an identical "magnet-less" bass mid.

At the time all of the above 8Ohm designs were competent but much better could be found elsewhere.

Upmarket designs out of this series are the 4Ohm T33 SP1202 endowed two-way C60 (a classic KEF giant killing sleeper) and the last of the "big'uns" the three-way C80 (using the 4 Ohm SP1212 B139).

There was also a bottom-end C10 with "KEF" on the tweeter, which used different looking drivers.

After these it was the "K" series, "Uniskew" and the end Sad .

Thanks for that Colin. I was considering buying a pair of these to use the drivers in a pair of MTM t-lines I am thinking of building, but from your info I think I shall pass on them.
cheers

I've had a "nose around" on U.S. ePay and "stolen" the following Very Happy.

C40 bass unit SP1205 3 Ohm!

C40 treble unit SP1211A 8 Ohm.

While I'm here the Audax HD100D25 used in the Celeste III, IV & Concord III is KEF SP1068.
