Hi there i am new to the site just want to say hi to everyone before i ask questions..
I recently bought a pair of Kef 105.1 speakers they are in very nice condition i bought them for cheap because the 2 midrange speakers were not working?? I tested the drivers by them selves and they seems to work very nicly and ohm out perfectly.. But when i mount the cross over back on them they do not work?? Just wondering if any of you kef speaker experts might know what the problem might be? Thank-you..

I think you have to recap the midrange section. I have read it already on this forum, by burgerking, he had excakly the same problem and have resolved it by changing the capacitors on the midrange section , he changed the c6, c8, c9 on the xo of the 105.4. I think that the 105.1 has a different xo as the 105.4. http://www.hifiloudspeakers.info/speakertalk/viewtopic.php?t=1585&start=75

There is also another topic on this forum about the RR105.1 and its crossover including a schematic. http://www.hifiloudspeakers.info/speakertalk/viewtopic.php?t=871
