The schematic shown in the "Technical" section for the crossover for a R103.2 SP1144 shows a 1.8 mH inductor in the LCR section of the feed to the B200. If I measure the same inductor in my R103.2's, it measures 1.1 mH. The second inductor, nearest the B200, measures 1.8 mH. I believe the schematic shown is in error and the LCR inductor should be 1.1 mH and the second inductor should be 1.8 mH. Has anyone else measured these two inductors in the their R103.2"s?

Sorry I don't have any 103|2's. Have you emailed the contributor?

No, the original posting was 13 years ago. The schematic for the Carlton III SP2026 looks to be virtually identical to the R103.2. That schematic was taken from a factory blueprint and shows the larger inductor closest to the B200. I believe that's the correct arrangement of the two inductors.

After thirteen years, I have opened up my KEF 103.2 and checked the inductor values:

You are correct, the inductor values should be as you say; 1.1mH in the LCR section and 1.8mH going to the bass driver.

The schematic drawing is therefore incorrect, with the inductor values the wrong way round. Oops.

Thanks Steve for double checking.

So true: still a KEF enthusiast.

I don't post that often (!) but still take an active interest. At this rate, I'll be 68 when the next query comes in!

regards,
Steve.
