Does anyone have information on Kef C65 speakers? I purchased them while in college in the late 1980s. They are floor standing speakers with a passive radiator.

I have a pair of C55s, the manual that came with them had a some drawing and specs on the series, which I *think* included the 65. I'll check when I get home...

Cheers,

Whoops, correcting my previous post - turns out that the C65 was in a series different from the C55; the C65 is NOT a Uni-Q design. The C65 belongs in the family of C15, C25, C45, with the '65 the largest of the set. From the manual:

C65 specs - 2-way floor-standing

HF: Metal dome 19mm coil dia, fluid cooled
LF: 200mm, 32mm coil dia, diecast chassis
200mm passive radiator, diecast chassis
Frequency range: 48Hz to 20KHz, +-3dB; -6dB rolloff at 43Hz.
Maximum output 110dB
Characteristic sensitivity 90dB
Amplifier requirements: 10-100W into 8 ohms;
20-150W into 4 ohms
Nominal Impedance: 4 ohms
Enclosure type: Passive Radiator
Itnernal Volume: 30.5 liters (1862 cu in)
Net weight 11.8kg
Dimensions: 725hx280wx246d
Reference Axis: 615mm vertical, measured from bottom of loudspeaker

So when you say "information", what exactly were you referring to? English is a wonderfully vague language.

Can't be "how it sounds" - you have a pair, so you'd be in the best position to evaluate that.

"nut853" appears to be another Bextrene smoker, or he's taken too many counterfeit pharmaceuticals bought from Lally's website.
