Hi everybody,

I'm new in this very interesting forum.
I'm a French KEF aficionado, just bought a pair of 104 like new for 25 €. Untill I get it I rediscover my CDs.
I have taken off the internal foam behind the B 139. Sound seems more large. Do I dream ?
Are there some easy tweaks for this speakers ?
Regards.

Get rid of all the yelow foam by all means but replace it with Vitafoam.

Removing some of the damping material will liven the sound up, but don't remove too much or you'll totally loose the effect.

Tweaks, a nice pair of heavy 15" stands with spikes top and bottom, put on some music then think about replacing the crossover's electrolytic capacitors with some of your locally grown Solens Very Happy .

Salut !
