I have just bought a box of 200mm bass drivers from early Naim SBLs.
They are similar to KEF B200s in shape in size, I suspect that they differ by a few mm, so would not fit a recessed hole made for a B200.
Made by Mordaunt Short. Model DSB 208.
The magnet has foam pad on the back with two aluminium plates, 5cmx5cmx5mm, I'd guess for vibration damping or similar.
Same applies to the frame but on a smaller scale and this time the weights are brass about 2x3cm. The cone has extra damping added as well 4x4x5mm.
The cone is textured doped paper. If anybody has other ideas or information I'd appreciate it.
