I'm running my 105.2s in a small room with a pair of Heathkit 6BQ5 mono blocks. I've also tried them with a monster Sargent-Rayment EL34 amp, but strangely...the lower powered amps have more guts, punch, and bass. Just curious to see if anyone else has tried running their 105.2s to any success with ridiculously low power.

not sure what you mean by lowered power amps..but heres what i have used

Marantz 1040 20 wpc Solid state.. not bad...but rather thin

Dynaco St70 II....PP El34 35 wpc Great match for Electric Guitar tracks

Larger amps...

an inexpensive/budget chinese PP KT88 40-50 WPC .. wow wow wee.. Play the Drum Test track CD !!! and this one slams you in the chest !!!

Pioneer SA 9500 --- This one burned on the Drum test Track Sad

Kenwood M1 Power AMP 105 wpc.. played rather close the PP KT88 but a bit thinner on the bass
