Hello,

I'm French and new on this very interesting forum.
I owned Concerto and Cadenza and 104. I just found a pair of Caprice in very good shape (20 euros, a good bargain), but there is something I don't understand : they have exactly the same dimensions that the Chorale, the logo on the back is marked "Caprice SP 1104", the mid HP is a SP1063a. This specs are not the same KEF give for the Caprice, they look like the Chorale specs.
Can somebody help a poor frog in love with english speakers ?

I've seen a KEF Caprice on a French website in the past, it looked like a Chorale.

I suspect the literal translations of "whim" and "chorale society" had something to do with the name change.

Good score @£14 btw Very Happy .

Thanks Colin,

I supposed somethink like that...but I wonder why the marketing men of KEF had given different names for the export ? Chorale and Caprice are perfectly undertsandable in french !
OK, I know, the answer is in the question : they are marketing men.javascript:emoticon('Confused').AND english javascript:emoticon('Laughing')

In the October edition of Hi-Fi News there is a small and limited edition to the KEF Museum on pages 95 to 96.
What is that nasty Celestion SL6 doing there?
Not a classic in my opinion...

Ah yes, but most Builders, Civil Engineers and Production Managers in "metal bashing" would disagree.

It's probably something to do with not wearing ear plugs Very Happy .

I have a story regarding these 'Strangle Boxes' sadly it is too long for these pages and best told over a pint of real ale or a decent claret or burgundy...

Anyway, the TL KEFs won the day between Bristol & Cheltenham...
