Has anyone got a Tabor DIY loudspeakers xover schematic? I would like to replace caps and industors in mine.

I mean the bass reflex project of 1977, with Audax 20 cm mid-bass and Audax HD12D25. I think it was a DIY version of Tangent RS4, but with different speakers.

I believe the project was printed in HiFi News and Record Review in 1977, (but I may be wrong), and sold by Hughes's Badger and later by Falcon.

At least I got mine from Badger.

From HFN&RR Sep 1977 p93-96
Highpass to the tweeter.
R2 2.4Ohm then C3 4.7 MicroF then paralel L3 0.22 mH and finaly C4 of 5 MicroF(in series to the tweeter)
Lowpass to the woofer start with a 12 dBfilter.
L1 1.4 mH and then a parallell C1 10 MicroF. After that a parallell ladder of these 3 things in series. L2 2.0 mH, R1 3.3Ohm and C2 8microF

The author claim that C3 is very critical and that no gains can be had by replacing the caps with plastic of the coils with aircore!

I would go for plastic caps and a small aircoil for L2 to make the coil make up the resistance.

OH, thanks.

I have just sent you a PM email about the problem. I should have looked here before.

I did not believe anyone would ever response now.

Please disregard my email.
