Hello you all,
I am trying to upgrade my Q1/Q9 (B 160 sp1485) loudspeakers xovers. I'd be grateful for the schematic diagram if some helpfull soul can help me.
And why does it say 4 ohm on my speaker and 8 ohm in the back of the speaker box? Shocked

I have a copy of the information you require somewhere here.
Sadly I can only offer Q1 - no records of Q9 at present... Sad

Did you mean Q9c or iQ9 perhaps?

Thanks for your quick reply Very Happy

That would be so great Very Happy Very Happy . And I have a Q9c.
I will start to upgrade my Q1 xovers first. Must wait until next paycheck arrives so I can upgrade my Q9c xovers.

Do you know why it say 4 ohm on my speaker and 8 ohm on the box?

Best regards,
Christian

Gets confusing from now on... Confused Shocked Rolling Eyes

Q9c

The rated imedance for both the tweeter on my blueprint is 3Ω =/- 0.6 at 3KHz at amplitude of 1V.
The test frequency for impedance measurement for the woofer is 300Hz 1V. Also 3Ω +/- 0.6.

The tweeter has a resistor in series with it and the series resistance for the inductor feeding the woofer is 0.2Ω at 1.1mH.

Date stamped on document is 2001.

Q1

This is similar with a somewhat slightly more complex section for the HF unit.

I'll need your email address via PM to send you scanned copies.
