Hi all.

I'm new here, so I thought I would start off with a Kef related post. I've been doing the audio thing for ages. In the early 90's I started doing amateur speaker design, and I love it. I'm just fascinated with the things. I use LinearX's LEAP and LMS. About a year ago, I was at my buddy Vito's. (Pics of his system are on my site, under stereo pics - page 4) He was using B&W DM-1200's. They are ancient, and kind of left me wanting something more. He had a pair of Kef 104B's that he hadn't hooked up in a while. I talked him in to hooking them up and......YEAH! I loved the way they sounded, and I'm telling you, there Hay Day was a LONG time ago. I think they still do about everything right. They are all rubber surrounds, and will probably last another 30 years. The B139 in them is the drone ver.

I kind of miss the old days of speaker building. Kef, Dyneaudio, Panasonic, and so many others are no longer available, and that is very sad.

My site is in my bio, but I thought I would post it here: http://community.webshots.com/user/davespectral Pardon the Lady skaters, but they're another hobby of mine. Smile
