Ive managed to find some replacement rubber dampers for an sp1039 that was needing a new one. So if all goes well with that then i should be okay.

Not sure what you mean by rubber damper. Damper is often used to mean the rear corrugated suspension or "spider". If you mean the front suspension, which is more usually called the "surround" then you should know that the SP1039 did not have a rubber surround but used a vacuum formed plasticised PVC whose trade name was Velbex.

That'll be about right (not £95!) for the nasty looking SMC AL12s with the "wrong" combination (datewise) of drive units currently on ePimp.

Never managed REf 104s, but have had Monitor Audio MA4, Rogers LS3/5a, KEF Chorale and Lentek transmission lines Shocked , at a boot Wink .
