Hi,
could anyone please tell me if the Calindas cabinet is just a plain box or was there any bracing or internal porting arrangements. Also how well damped was it?
cheers
john

An annular brace parallel to the top made from single pieces of chip board one third the way down the cabinet to stiffen it for the B200, three damping panels in each section and one at the top and bottom, plus 1.5" and 2.5" thick foam panels complete the internal damping Cool .

Hi Colin,
many thanks for the info, just what I wanted.
My first thought was that each driver had their own seperate enclosure but that cannot be the case as the 139 is passive.
Each bracing must have a hole in it, is that right , if so would you know the shape of the bracing panels please.
cheers
john

Rectangular to fit the box, straight bits about 1.5" wide, corners have an internal radius, material ~0.625" chipboard.

I've got a picture somewhere, but you'll have to contact me via email to get it Shocked .
